Your breath is the fastest and simplest way to wake-up, calm and balance your nervous system. By mastering our breath we take control of our life. Whether you want to resolve stress & anxiety, unlock your primal energy or optimize your mind functional breathing can help you achieve your desired state.

With a little training your Autonomic Nevous System (ANS) will be within your control, allowing you to direct how you feel at any time. Feeling stressed? Anxious, tired or depressed? My goal is to train you to conquer your most ambitious goals. Every session with me is an opportunity to learn and perfect new conscious breathing techniques that will improve your mood, physiology and mindset within minutes, if not seconds.

Functional breathing is faster than meditation, allowing you to access your Sympathetic (activating) or Parasympathetic (calming) Nervous System within two-minutes or less. Eventually you’ll increase your Heart Rate Variability (HRV) to maximize rest and recovery – which ultimately leads to an increased sense of wellbeing.

Leaning to titrate between systems, moving seamlessly from sympathetic to parasympathetic, is paramount when training resilience in mind and body. You’ll learn to push your nervous system to endure the physiological and emotional challenges that arise, helping us to become the best version of ourselves even while stressed.

Most of us breathe at a rate of around 18 Breaths Per Minute (BPM), breathing lightly from our upper chest while taking in half the amount of air we should. At this rate we only utilize 50% of the oxygen available to us.

However, did you know that breathing through your nose at 6 BPM makes 35% more oxygen available to your body and brain by optimizing vasodilation and Nitric Oxide (N.O) production. Imagine what this means for an organism that breathes more than 20,000 times per day!
